Development of the cognitive sphere
Educators create situations in which children’s cognitive activity, rather than simply reproducing information, can manifest itself. Situations that can stimulate cognitive development (i.e. requiring children to develop perception, thinking, imagination, and memory) occur in a child’s daily life all the time: walking, eating, putting to bed, dressing, preparing for a holiday, etc.
