Openness to the world: art and culture
In our structures, the child learns about life in the community. The exploration of new spaces, different cultures, the cycle of life, the continents, our planet and the seasons, are for him the opportunity to discover his own body and the world around him. We highlight the artistic dimension of the world in order to encourage open-mindedness. We develop the child’s creativity and nurture his imagination. The child also acquires the basics of arithmetic and reading.
Examples of activities :
– Listening to different styles of music, dance: to discover and get initiated.
– Graphic arts: to express oneself, develop one’s creativity, discover new techniques.
– Discovery of a country through its culture (cuisine, costumes, traditional songs…): to get to know and respect other cultures.
Communication: verbal and body language
Each child needs to listen, watch and express themselves with books and many vocabulary materials. We introduce foreign languages through shows, music and reading time in different languages.
Examples of activities :
Oral language
– Democratic council in the morning: to allow each child to speak, to give his or her opinion?
– Rituals of presentation and mood of the day: to get to know oneself, to identify and verbalize one’s emotions.
Body language
– Dance: to offer the child the pleasure of movement.
– Theater: to develop self-confidence and to express themselves in public.
– Disguise, make-up: to enhance their own image and develop their imagination.
– Mime games, sign language: to help integrate the body schema and to express oneself with the body.
Nature: discovering and preserving its environment
Every day, children will play in nature and with natural elements (such as acorns, stones, wood…).
Examples of activities :
– Gardening: to give the child a long-term relationship with the earth, to make him/her aware of the cycle of the seasons, to make him/her responsible.

Zen: take time and relax
The zen workshop proposes relaxation exercises which help children develop their concentration, experience new sensations, an a feeling of well-being and become aware of their bodies.
